Located at the edge of Chinatown, on Yaowarat Road, near Hualampong Train Station, Wat Traimit is home to the world´s largest solid gold Buddha, measuring almost five meters tall and weighing five and a half tons. The tour will then continue to Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok, the temple of the huge Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings. This is located behind the Buddha Temple. It is one of the largest temples in the city and famous for its gigantic reclining Buddha that measures 151 ft. long and is covered in gold. Next, you will visit the Royal Palace, which is undoubtedly the most famous monument in the city. Built in 1782, and for 150 years the home of the King of Thailand, the royal court and the administrative headquarters of the government, the Grand Palace in Bangkok is an ancient building that continues to impress its visitors with its beautiful architecture and details. Within the complex is Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (officially known as Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram), considered the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand, enshrining the most revered Buddha carved from a single block of jade. BANGKOK - CHIANG RAI
Breakfast. In the morning transfer to the airport to take the flight to Chiang Rai. Arrival in Chiang Rai with a flight no later than 10:00 AM. Proceed to Chui Fong, a beautiful tea plantation. Surrounded by rolling hills covered with tea fields, you can enjoy various treats such as tea ice cream and tea cake (at your own expense), followed by lunch. Next, we will visit an opium museum before heading to Mae Chan District, north of Chiang Rai. Then, continue on foot, walking uphill through narrow paths to visit ethnic minority villages of the Akha and Yao people. Visit to the town of the famous Giraffe Women in Karen´s town, They are ethnical group most bigger in Thailand, this ethnicity comes from Tibet since 2,000 years ago, and established in Myanmar. During XVIII century, political wars and persecution does they move on in north Thailand. Today they aren´t have a oficial residence. This ethnicity is more knowing like “Kayan women” (sub-group from Po, Red Karen). Their neck is decorate with brass rings, sometimes, starting since 5 years-old childs. CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI
Breakfast. In the morning we will move to the dock and take a pleasant traditional boat ride along the Kok River visiting the Karen tribes who live in bamboo huts in the jungle. We will continue with a visit to Wat Rong Suea Tean Temple, also known as the Blue Temple, another unusual modern Buddhist temple distinguished by its intense blue color and elaborate statues. Next we will visit the famous white temple of Wat Rong Khun. After the visit we will go from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai by road (3 Hrs). Arrival in Chiang Mai. Lunch. Visit to the Wat Doi Suthep temple complex, the best known in Chiang Mai, located on the top of a small hill 15 km northwest of the city. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. In the morning we will visit some local craft factories. Where we will sewe the local work process. Trasladation to Departure to the Mae Sa valley visiting the orchid farm. Lunch. Afterwards, we will move to the elephant sanctuary to learn about these animals, and do various activities, including giving them food and taking a bath, an unforgettable experience. Back to the hotel. Dinner Kantoke. After all, trasladation to return to hotel. Accommodation.
