Breakfast. At the morning panoramic visit two of the most unusual Buddhist temples in the city. Visiting starts at Wat Traimit, located at the edge of Chinatown, on Yaowarat Road, near the Hualampong train station. Wat Traimit is home to the largest solid gold Buddha in the world, measuring almost five meters tall and weighing five and a half tons. The excursion will continue to Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok, where the enormous Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings are located. This is located behind the Buddha Temple. It is one of the largest temples in the city and is famous for its gigantic reclining Buddha that measures 151 ft long and is covered in gold. Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Officially known as Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram), considered the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand, enshrines the image of a highly revered Buddha meticulously carved from a single block of jade. BANGKOK - CHIANG RAI
Breakfast. By the morning you will transfer to airport to take a flight to Chiang Rai. Arrive to Chiang Rai. Proceed to Chui Fong, a beautiful tea plantation. Surrounded by rolling hills covered with tea fields, you can enjoy various delights such as tea ice cream and tea cake (at your own expense), as well as lunch. Next, we will pass by an opium museum before heading toward the Mae Chan district, north of Chiang Rai. Then we will continue on foot, walking uphill along narrow paths to visit ethnic minority villages of the Akha and Yao people. Our last destination of the day will be one of the Karen villages, where we will meet this famous hill tribe – the largest ethnic minority group in Thailand. This tribe, originally from Tibet, migrated to what is now Myanmar about two thousand years ago. During the 18th century, political conflict and persecution led to their mass migration to northern Thailand, where many still live today without an officially recognized state. The tribe is best known for the Kayan women – a subgroup of the Po (Red Karen) – whose necks are adorned with brass rings. Sometimes starting as young as five years old, the constant pressure pushes their collarbones and ribs downward, giving the appearance of an elongated neck. Hence their nickname, the “giraffe women,” an astonishing sight. Afterward, return transfer to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.

CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI
Breakfast. In the morning we will move to the dock and take a pleasant traditional boat ride along the Kok River visiting the Karen tribes who live in bamboo huts in the jungle. We will continue with a visit to Wat Rong Suea Tean Temple, also known as the Blue Temple, another unusual modern Buddhist temple distinguished by its intense blue color and elaborate statues. Next we will visit the famous white temple of Wat Rong Khun. After the visit we will go from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai by road. Arrival in Chiang Mai. Lunch. Visit to the Wat Doi Suthep temple complex, the best known in Chiang Mai, located on the top of a small hill 15 km northwest of the city. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast. In the morning we will visit some local craft factories. We will also visit a wooden sculpture factory where it is possible to buy Burmese antiques. Departure to the Mae Sa valley visiting the orchid farm. Lunch. Afterwards, we will move to the elephant sanctuary to learn about these animals, and do various activities, including giving them food and taking a bath, an unforgettable experience. Traditional Kantoke´s dinner. Transladation back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
